ABOUT OUR GALLERY AND CO-OP All work is for sale. Contact the individual artists using links on the artist pages. • art to own • diverse original art • archival reproductions • 2D and 3D • traditional and contemporary styles • card collections • affordable • your support helps our artists make more art! Brief History: The Artists' Coop of Mendocino was established in June 1988 for the purpose of selling members' art. The first President was Warren Zimmer. The Co-op is owned and operated by the members, which number fifteen to twenty. Selected guest artists are featured periodically. The Co-op gallery was originally located on Main St. above the quilt shop, but moved to the present address in January 2016. We like our new location, ground level entrance, and landscaping options. Our current space was built originally as an art gallery, in contrast to being a residence that has been adapted for use as a gallery. GOING GREEN Our Co-op supports sustainable practices. * Our replacement of traditional gallery lighting with LEDS reduced our electricity use and bill by more than two thirds. * Packaging we use for shipping art makes use of recycled materials. |
