ARCHIVAL REPRODUCTIONS OF PAINTINGS AND PRINTS
Specifications for Joseph DuViver's reproductions:
The reproduction is made using an Epson 7600 printer with archival UltraChrome inks on coated, water-resistant inkjet canvas from Fredrix. The reproduction is then overcoated with ClearShield satin liquid laminate (for physical protection and improved ultraviolet protection). I know of no accelerated life testing of this combination of ink, canvas and coating, but the same ink on some Epson papers is rated by Epson to last over 100 years before noticeable fading when displayed under glass in normal interior lighting (see www.epson.com for details). Nevertheless it would be wise not to expose this work to prolonged direct sunlight.
The following artists have archival reproductions produced by Joseph DuVivier that have the specifications above.
Debra Beck Lennox (on archival canvas and archival paper)
Marian DeGloria (botanical art on archival paper)
Karen Embree Reynolds (on archival paper)
LASER REPRODUCTIONS
Laser reproductions, although not guaranteed as "archival," are printed on high quality paper and will maintain colors if not exposed to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
CARDS
Many of our artists have cards for sale either in the Artists' Coop Gallery in Mendocino or in the online Store, or both. Cards are produced using high quality paper and inks.
PHOTOGRAPHS
Photographs sold in the online Store are printed on archival paper and are matted using pH neutral mats and backings.
