I am an artist who works with clay. I am not a production potter, although I am full of respect and admiration for production potters. The ability to design a line of work and reproduce it to specifications is awe inspiring, but definitely not my forte. My focus is creating individual, unique ceramic figures.
I was born and raised in California. Making art has been a lifelong endeavor. Clay is my first love, but I also enjoy painting, drawing, printmaking, sewing, leatherwork and, gardening. I have attended classes at Mendocino College, College of the Redwoods, U C Extension, San Francisco Art Institute, and Pasadena City College. I have shown with various galleries and art groups over the years, and currently am exhibiting in the Artists’ Co-op of Mendocino Gallery.
My goal is to reflect the beauty and joy that I see here on planet Earth.
