It’s the Time of the Season Bury the seeds, tend the sprouts, water the plants, enjoy the flowering, and then the seeds return, waiting through the winter for another spring to come. Through the lens of Sharon Garner we see the patterns, sense the rhythms of Nature. As featured artist for the month of November at the Artists’ Co-op of Mendocino, photographer Sharon Garner has gathered a kaleidoscope of images, her beloved flowers, the birds that come and go, the landscape that is their home, changing throughout the seasons. Sharon Garner came to the North Coast years ago and made her home in Elk with her husband Stephen Garner. Already an accomplished baker and vocalist, she learned new skills in graphic design and photography. Her exquisite flower photography was her trademark for years, set against an elegant black. She now uses special lens techniques to render flowers that seem to dance on clouds of color. She observes and photographs the birds, the landscape, the sky and sea, all part of her world. Take time this month to see this special collection, November 6th to December 2nd.
